On May 28, at 11:51 p.m., a traffic stop led to the arrest of Johnathan Brunt, 36, of Chicago, who was charged with registration suspended for no insurance and driving while his license was suspended. He was subsequently released with a notice-to-appear.
On May 29, at 5:56 a.m., a traffic stop led to the arrest of Robert Perdue, 32, of Chicago. Perdue was charged with an expired registration and driving on a revoked license. He was subsequently released with a notice-to-appear.
On May 29, at 11:38 a.m., Monee officers were dispatched to South Governors Highway and West Industrial Drive for a vehicle-involved fire. Upon their arrival, officers observed a woodchipper burning, and the Monee Fire District successfully extinguished the fire without incident. Upon further investigation, the vehicle pulling the woodchipper had a suspended registration. The driver, identified as Jose Palos-Rios, was cited for driving with a suspended registration for financial reasons. He was subsequently released with a notice-to-appear.
On June 2, at 6:22 a.m., a traffic stop led to the arrest of Kendra Staples, 27, of Dolton. Staples was charged with suspended registration, having no insurance, and driving while her license was suspended. She was subsequently released with a notice-to-appear.
On June 3, at 4:07 a.m., a traffic stop led to the arrest of Andrew Harvey, 38, of Crete. Harvey was charged with driving with an expired registration and driving with a revoked license. He was subsequently released with a notice-to-appear.
