Pauline M. Wantuck (née Kappeler), beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, died this week. She was the cherished wife of Craig Wantuck and devoted mother of Lindsay (Alex) Savage, Craig Jr., and Grace Wantuck. She was a proud grandmother to Alex Jr.
Pauline was the loving daughter of William F. and the late Melanie Kappeler (née Sidor), and the dear sister of David (Rosario) Kappeler. She was a fond aunt to Leanne and many nieces and nephews. She was the granddaughter of Lucille and the late Melvin Kappeler, and of the late Lottie and Vincent Sidor.
Known for her warmth and generosity, Pauline was a best friend to many and a constant presence in the lives of those she loved.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 18, from 2 to 8 p.m. at Richard Midway Funeral Home, 5749 Archer Ave. (corner of Lorel). Funeral services will begin at 9:45 a.m. Monday, May 19, processing to St. John of the Cross Church for an 11 a.m. Mass.
