On November 28, Peotone Officers responded to Dralle Chevrolet for suspicious activity. Upon arrival, officers observed a white Infiniti with no registration parked in the 400 block of Main Street. Two subjects were seen running from Dralle’s parking lot toward the Infiniti. When officers attempted to intercept, the individual fled on foot around the squad car, entered the Infiniti, and escaped northbound on Rt. 50 at high speed. Officers returned to the scene and discovered the south showroom door’s glass shattered and a possible additional offender inside. After confirming the area was safe, the keyholder was allowed to check for missing or tampered items. This remains an active investigation.
