Book Appétit – Cookbook Book Club, from 6 – 7:30 p.m., adults and teens: Join us as we enjoy a potluck array of food from the featured cookbook of the month. Each member picks a recipe and brings their dish to share with other members. This month’s cookbook is “Bread Illustrated: A Step-By-Step Guide to Achieving Bakery-Quality Results at Home,” by America’s Test Kitchen. Copies will be available in advance at the library. The Roots of Chicago Blues, from 2 – 3 p.m., adults: Chicago Blues Hall of Fame inductee Donna Herula will sing and play acoustic blues slide guitar and will be joined by Marc Edelstein on upright bass and Tony Wittrock on acoustic guitar and mandolin, for a fun show. Register.
