The Crete Police Department’s Fall Community Clean-Up Day is back, according to Chief Scott Pieritz. The event is slated for Saturday, October 5, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. A free lunch will be served afterward at Crete Trinity Lutheran Church, Pieritz said.
The police department partners with “the church, Crete Park District, and other organizations to help clean-up our community,” he added.
Additional events this fall will include Coffee with a Cop at multiple locations and a BINGO fundraiser.
