OUTLOOK: Some top-notch players on offense and defense return for the Knights.
Senior Brock Sperling is a sterling presence in the trenches on both offense and defense. He missed a little time last year with injuries, but still had 12 tackles for loss and five sacks and was the Chicagoland Christian Conference Defensive Lineman of the Year. Sperling was also selected to play in the Blue-Grey All-American Bowl in January.
Quarterback Christian Flutman is a two-time CCC Offensive Player of the Year who threw for 1,212 yards and 11 touchdowns while running for 293 yards and six scores in 2023.
Both Sperling and Flutman are receiving interest from college programs.
The Knights have a shot at making the playoffs for a third straight season, which would be the longest postseason streak since nine straight trips to the playoffs from 2000-2008.
