On August 9, Peotone Police were dispatched to the 600 block of 88th Avenue in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, the officers met with a couple involved in a verbal dispute. After speaking with both parties involved, the dispute was peacefully resolved, and the parties advised they did not require any additional assistance and were going to return to their residences.
On August 12, Peotone Officers were advised of a complaint received referencing a suspicious person in the 300 block of South Street. They were advised a male/white wearing glasses was seen in the caller’s backyard and, when inquired why, the subject advised he was looking for an address. The suspicious male then left the yard and got on a dark colored scooter w/blue lights. (Male white, heavyset, black hat on backwards, and glasses.) The officer attempted to locate the subject and checked the area, however, was unable to locate.
On August 12, a complainant requested Peotone Police in reference to damage to a vehicle that occurred while parked on the street in the 500 block of Sixth Street. Upon the officer’s arrival, the complainant advised tires where slashed on their vehicle by an unknown person between 2 p.m. on August 11 and 4 a.m. on August 12. A criminal damage report was completed.
On August 12, Peotone Police were dispatched to Dralle Chevrolet in reference to a box truck that pulled into the overhang of the building causing damage. The police responded, spoke with subjects involved, and completed a property damage only accident report.
