Book Appétit – Cookbook Book Club, from 6 – 7:30 p.m., ages 11 – adult: Join us and enjoy a potluck array of food from “Bottom of the Pot: Persian Recipes and Stories,” by Naz Deravian. Each member picks a recipe and brings a dish to share with other members. Copies of the cookbook will be available in advance at the library. Register.

LEGO WeDo Robotics – Space Exploration, from 6 – 7 p.m., grades first/fifth: We will design, build, and test a rover that can achieve one of the following missions when sent to planet Mars: Move in and out of a crater, collect a rock sample, or drill a hole in the ground. Register.

SNAP Help, from 1 – 4 p.m., adults: A SNAP Outreach Coordinator for the Northern Illinois Food Bank will assist people with filling out applications for the Illinois Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), also known as Food Stamps or Link Card. Drop in.
