Call the library at 708-946-9090 for programs that require registration. The library’s Penfield Street parking lot entrance will be closed until spring, but the Maxwell Street entrance is open. Turn north on Maxwell from Indiana Avenue to get to the library.

February 1 , 6, and 8, from 2-5 p.m., One-on-One Technology Help: Sit down for a half hour and receive technology help with any of your devices, including phones, tablets, and laptops. Receive help with apps, email, Facebook and social media, computer basics, or get any other technology questions answered. Call to register.

February 4, at 2 p.m., The History of the Chicago Auto Show: Auto historian Mitch Frumkin will present a multimedia presentation of 100+ years of Chicago auto shows. Refreshments will be served. No registration necessary.

February 9, at 1 p.m.: Join the Afternoon Book Club to discuss “Calling Me Home,” by Julie Kibler.

The Evening Book Discussion selection is available for pick up. The group will be reading “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil,” by John Berendt, on Monday, February 26, at 7 p.m.
