Once again, the Giving Trees, for children of assisted families at Helping Hands Food Pantry, are at both Old National Bank and First Community Bank and Trust in Peotone.
Members of the community are encouraged to participate in the true meaning of the season and pick-up a Christmas wish tag for one of more than 70 children who Helping Hands assists and are in the Peotone 207-U School District.
The children range in age from infants to 17 years. Each of the children have a tag, completed by a parent, that includes information on gift ideas for that child. Clothing sizes, toys, special interests are listed to help you with your purchases.
Please return your wrapped gifts to the bank from which the tag was obtained no later than December 9.
Helping Hands has been sponsoring this project for more than 25 years, enabling hundreds of children over the years to have a special Christmas!! Please, if you can, take a name in the true spirit of Christmas! Thank you in advance for your generosity and Merry Christmas!!
