September 7: Mystery Book Club, Thursday, from 11 a.m. to noon, at the Heritage Center in Monee, 5210 W. Court Street. The club will discuss “The Socialite’s Guide to Murder,” by S.K. Golden.
September 11 – 16: Adult take-and-make craft; Wooden “relax” or “home” sign, with paints and brush, available at front desk while supplies last.

September 13: Computer Basics One-on-One, Wednesday, from 11-11:30 a.m. A staff member will devote 30-minute time slots to help with computer needs, including computer basics, setting up an email account and sending attachments, creating resumes, learning how to use the Internet or a word document – you decide. Call to reserve a time slot.
September 13: The Power of Story, with Colson Whitehead, at 7 p.m., online; Pulitzer Prize winning #1 New York Times bestselling author Colson Whitehead will present an online live event. This event is made possible by Illinois Libraries Present. Register.
