The 20th edition of the Taste of Orland Park seemingly featured a little of everything.

This is the final year it is scheduled to be held near Village Hall as plans are to move it to the revamped Centennial Park West starting next year, a site Mayor Keith Pekau said is better for parking, patron comfort as well as for vendors and entertainers.

This year’s Taste had a mix of food, a mix of activities, a mix of music and a mix of weather. Opening day, Aug. 4, was sunny and warm but the final two days had some rain mixed in.

But thousands of fest goers had fun listening to everything from tributes to the Beatles to Elton John, country music and other genres.

There was bingo, a bags tournament, a kids zone, a veterans tribute, trivia and improve comedy mashup.

Special to 2023 was a Veterans Athletes United Fallen Heroes Memorial, which was a flag made up of dog tags of those military men and women who have died since 9/11.
