July 24, at approximately 12:15 a.m., a traffic crash in the 5600 block of W. Court Street, led to a DUI arrest of a Monee man. After striking a parked car, Brandon Cunningham, 47, was processed and transported. He declined any medical attention.
July 25, at approximately 6:30 a.m., MPD received information from the Kankakee County Sheriff’s Police a vehicle stolen from their jurisdiction was believed to be at the Amazon lot in Monee. Officers found and recovered the 2001 Hyundai. Kankakee is following up.
July 25, at approximately 9:30 p.m., a disturbance was reported at Julie’s Video Stop on Monee-Manhattan Road. Upon arrival, officers were told a problem subject had just left. The subject previously had been removed, and a ‘no trespass’ order had been issued. Keetwon Montgomery, 29 of Monee, was located and arrested for trespassing. He was processed and bonded.
July 26, at approximately 2:40 p.m., Andre T. Barr, 50, of Monee, was arrested at MPD for failure to register under the violent offender registration act. Barr was secured and turned over to Will County.
July 26, at approximately 6:15 p.m., a Monee-Manhattan Road traffic crash resulted in both drivers being cited. Aaron Scott, 19, of Hazel Crest, was cited for an illegal left turn. Jacqueline Martinez, 18, of Blue Island, was cited for unlawful possession of alcohol. No injuries were reported.
July 27, at approximately 5:30 a.m., Ricardo J. Jaimes-Velentin, 23, of Harvey, surrendered himself to MPD for an outstanding warrant. Jaimes-Velentin was wanted in Will County for failure to appear. He was processed and bonded.
July 27, at approximately 4:10 p.m., a Will-Center traffic stop for expired plates got a Monee man incarcerated for possession of a controlled substance. David Kroll, 60, was secured and transported after K9 Cap indicated the presence of drugs. A small amount of suspected cocaine was recovered.
July 27, at approximately 9 p.m., Tiffany Edmonds, 42, of Hammond, was arrested for battery at the Red Roof Inn. Edmonds and another female had an altercation, which resulted in Edmonds striking the victim. She was secured and transported.
July 29, at approximately 4:30 p.m., an illegal left turn on Monee-Manhattan Road, led to the arrest of Johan A. Martinez-Lombrano, 36, of West Arlington, Texas, for driving while suspended and no insurance. Martinez-Lombrano was processed and bonded.
