June 27, at approximately 8:30 a.m., a Mokena man, who was running late for work, didn’t make things any better when he wedged his car underneath a semi-trailer on Monee-Manhattan Road just east of I-57. Aidan Thompson, 20, was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, failure to yield, and driving with a suspended registration. After refusing medical attention, he was cited and processed. The semi driver was OK also.
June 27, at approximately 5:30 p.m., failure to wear a seat belt got Maurice Mitchell, 22, of Country Club Hills, a driving while suspended. He was processed and bonded.
June 27, at approximately 6 p.m., a Monee-Manhattan Road traffic stop led to the arrest of DeWayne Johnson, 26, of Lynwood, for a failure to appear warrant out of Will County. He was secured and transported.
June 29, at approximately 6:50 a.m., a Monee-Manhattan Road traffic stop led to the arrest of Kyle Grob, 42, of Kankakee, for driving while suspended and suspended registration. He was processed and bonded.
June 30, at approximately 12:30 a.m., Robert Jordan, 29, of Park Forest, was arrested for driving while suspended, suspended registration, and no insurance. He was processed and bonded.
June 30, at approximately 5:20 p.m., a vehicle stopped for doing 70-mph on Monee-Manhattan Road led to the arrest of Jamel Tooley, 23, of Riverdale, for driving while suspended. He was processed and bonded.
June 30, at approximately 10 p.m., an argument at the Red Roof Inn resulted in the arrest of Jaclyn Renchen, 38, of Richton Park, for failure to appear. Renchen was found to have a warrant out of Kankakee. She was transported and processed.
June 30, at approximately 10 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance in the 5200 block of Margaret Street. A subject identified himself and his dog as victims of a dog attack. He and the dog had visible puncture wounds and scratch marks from the loose dog. Both left to be treated for their injuries after officers obtained their report information. Catherine Walsh, 33, of Monee, was located and cited for multiple ordinance violations related to her dog running loose.
July 1, at approximately 2 a.m., Darnell Davis Jr., 35, of Kankakee, was stopped for a suspended registration. He was found to have an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in Will County. He was secured and transported.
July 1, at approximately 2 p.m., officers responded to Amazon for a theft complaint and ended up charging Harold Nicholson, 31, of Lynwood, with theft of multiple Apple products. He was transported and processed.
July 2, just after midnight, patrolling units on Sunset observed a subject in the area they knew had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in Will County. Timothy Jurincie, 36, of Monee, was taken into custody without incident and transported.
July 2, at approximately 12:30 p.m., officers responded to the Petro on Monee-Manhattan Road to check on two suspicious characters. After speaking with them and becoming concerned about their actions, officers determined they were under the influence of an unknown substance and called paramedics. During their conversations, Gabrielle Paiva, 25, of Matteson, was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. She was taken into custody, as was her friend Daniel Randolph, 22, of Glenwood, who was in possession of paraphernalia. Both were transported and processed.
