June 17, Nicholas Contreras, 37, of the 1400 block of Crooked Creek Circle, was encountered in the 300 block of Eagle Lake Road and found to have a suspended driver’s license. The vehicle Mr. Contreras was driving sustained recent damage, and it was determined he had struck a traffic sign in an unincorporated area of Will County. The Will County Sheriff handled that case. Contreras was arrested, processed, and released on the Beecher charges.
July 1, Victoria Moran, 19, of the 400 block of Saddle Run, Beecher, was stopped at Indiana Avenue and Dixie Highway for driving without headlights activated. She was charged with possessing a fictitious or altered driver’s license and illegal transportation of alcohol. She was arrested, processed, and bonded.
July 3, Joel Valdovinos, 28, of the 500 block of Hirsch Avenue, Calumet City, was stopped at Dixie Highway and Corning Road for a vehicle equipment violation and found to have a suspended driver’s license. He was arrested and charged with having a suspended driver’s license and improper display of registration, because the license plates were not for that vehicle. He was bonded and released.
July 4, Brett Clevenger, 31, of the 200 block of N. Randolph Avenue, Bradley, was stopped at Dixie Highway and Penfield Street for having only one license plate and found to possess illegal cannabis. He was charged with adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle, bonded, and released.
July 4, officers were called to the 500 block of Miller Street for a fight in progress. Upon arrival, they encountered Denah Zygadlo, 48, of the 14700 block of Whipple Avenue, Posen, in an altercation with another person. She was arrested and charged with domestic battery and transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
