During the Penfield construction project, our Penfield Street parking lot entrance will be closed, but the Maxwell Street entrance still will be available. Turn north on Maxwell from Indiana Avenue to get to the library.
Our Summer Reading Program, Find Your Voice, is ongoing, and there is still time to sign up! Participants of all ages, even adults, can win prizes just for reading. Visit the library to register!
Our little tadpole is getting bigger, although we’re still waiting to see when it’s going to grow legs! Visit the library through July to watch its progress in becoming a frog.

A new Fourth of July magnet take-and-make craft is available. Pick up any time.
July 6 and 13, at 10 a.m., Summer Storytime in Firemen’s Park, at the band stand: Enjoy stories, games, music, and crafts/activities! Bring a blanket or folding chair to sit on. Call to register.
July 11, at 7 p.m., Stuffed Animal Story Time: Children will enjoy a story time and craft with their stuffed animals, then stuffed animals will spend the night at the library. The next day, children will receive photos of the animal’s adventures! Call to register.
July 11, at 4 p.m., plus July 12, at 4 and 6 p.m., Tie-Dye T-shirts, for kids six and older: Make a tie-dye t-shirt to celebrate the summer! Call to register.
The next book for the Graphic/Hybrid Novel Book Club for Kids is available. They will discuss “The First Cat in Space Ate Pizza,” by Mac Barnett, and make cosmic play dough on Wednesday, July 19, at 4 p.m.

July 6, 11, and 13, from 2-5 p.m., One-on-One Technology Help: Sit down for a half hour and receive technology help with any of your devices, including phones, tablets, and laptops. Receive help with apps, email, Facebook and social media, computer basics, or get any other technology questions answered. Call to register.
The Afternoon Book Club will be discussing “The Chinese Orange Mystery,” by Ellery Queen, on July 14, at 1 p.m. There is still time to pick up a copy and join.
The Evening Book Discussion selection is available for pickup. The group will discuss “The Extraordinary Life of Sam Hell,” by Robert Dugoni, on July 24, at 7 p.m.
