Trustees of the Beecher Public Library District have scheduled the regular monthly meetings for the coming fiscal year. The meetings will be held on the third Tuesday of the month. Each meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the Beecher Community Library at 660 Penfield Street.
Regular board meetings are scheduled for July 18, August 15, September 19, October 17, November 21, and December 19, 2023; January 16, February 20, March 19, April 16, May 21, and June 18, 2024.
If a meeting must be rescheduled, the change will be posted 48 hours in advance in the library. Special meetings will be scheduled as needed and posted 48 hours in advance. The library board of trustees encourages the public to attend the meetings, especially if there is a concern. Each meeting agenda provides time for audience comments.
Library trustees are Shirley Biery, president; Lance Saller, vice president; Kathryn Czarnecki, secretary; Jennifer Bunte, treasurer; plus Richard Kerber, Michelle Stamper, and Beverly Wehling.

Chairpersons of the standing committees are Building/Grounds – Lance Saller and Richard Kerber; Housekeeping – Kathryn Czarnecki; Landscaping – Michelle Stamper; Schools – Jennifer Bunte; Social – Beverly Wehling; and General – Shirley Biery.
Jill Grosso serves as Library Director, Dawn Gess – Assistant Director, while Betty McCann, Sharon Grigas, and Michele Palmisano serve as Library Circulation Clerks. Jennifer Kaczmarcsyk is the Children’s Program Coordinator, Marilyn Rosser – book processor, and Vicki Squier serves as accountant.
Beecher Community Library is open 48 hours per week, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday; and 9 a.m. until noon, on Saturday.
Library patrons may return borrowed materials to the drop boxes located on the east side.
Library cards will be issued to anyone living within the Beecher Public Library District. Parents or guardians must sign for those 18 years or younger. All individuals must show proof of residency, with two forms of identification including street or road address.
