Adeline Rehborg, 98, the daughter of Henry and Emma Rehborg, was born on December 7, 1924, and passed away quietly and peacefully on Good Friday, April 7, 2023. She was a long-time resident of Crete.
Adeline worked for Abex Corporation in Chicago Heights as a secretary until her retirement in 1983. She attended St. Paul Lutheran Church in Chicago Heights, where she had many friends and loved attending services and served there for many years. She also was well traveled and had a great interest in her family’s genealogy.
Adeline is survived by her nephew, Larry (Linda) Sons of Crown Point, Indiana; niece Carol (Doug) Oldham of Goreville; great-nieces Brenda Avant, Julie Hill, Laura Brummett, and Rebecca Lopez; and many great-great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Arlene Sons; nephew, William Sons; and many aunts and uncles.
Memorial services are pending. Her final resting place will be at Skyline Memorial Cemetery in Monee. Burns Funeral Home, Crown Point, is entrusted with arrangements.
