Dear Editor:
I want to encourage friends and neighbors in district 4 of the Crete Monee Unified School District to cast their votes for Alex Gallegos for the 201U Board of Education on or before April 4.
Alex’s commitment to family and community is evident in his dedicated, optimistic work ethic, his integrity, and intelligence. He comes from a family of educators, and is a people person who will listen to taxpayers and take their concerns seriously. He will stand up for students and teachers and instill a sense of pride in our school district. With two children in Crete-Monee schools, Alex is dedicated to building educational excellence long-term.
Crete Monee School District 201U needs fresh ideas and energetic leadership. Alex will build positive working relationships with all board members and improve communication between the board and citizens. As he does this, he will work for equitable allocation of resources so that we improve teacher retention and meet the needs of all students.
It’s time for a new voice, the voice of a parent with kids in the district and a vested interest in our success. Vote for “District Dad” Alex Gallegos for 201U.
