Augustana’s Jenny Lind Vocal Ensemble on Tour: Under the direction of Dr. Michael Zemek, the vocal ensemble will embark on a performance tour April 14-16 in Missouri and Iowa. Local students in the ensemble are Abbey Soper and Miranda Tyda, both of New Lenox.
“Our program is titled ‘And I Can Sing’ and celebrates the joy of being able to sing together once again, while seeking to understand the barriers and challenges we may encounter along the way,” said Zemek.
Tour performances include one in Kirkwood, Missouri, on April 14, plus two in Iowa on April 15 – in Fort MadisoN, and April 16 – in Iowa City. They also will perform selections from their performance on April 29 on campus.
