March 1, Mark Eugene, 57, of the 20200 block of Augusta Drive, Olympia Fields, was arrested for the shooting of a Beecher resident on January 30. A $5 million arrest warrant was issued for him after the shooting. The charge on the arrest warrant was for aggravated battery with a firearm and unlawful use of a weapon by a felon. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility on March 1.
March 2, Dorohn Wright, 39, of the 7900 block of W. 101st Place, Crown Point, was stopped at Indiana Avenue and Dixie Highway for speeding and found to have a suspended driver’s license. He was arrested, bonded, and released shortly after the stop.
March 4, Antonio Valadez, 66, of the 14300 block of 8500 N. Road, Grant Park, was stopped at 901 Dixie Highway for a cell phone violation and found to have a revoked driver’s license. Due to Mr. Valadez having numerous similar charges, he was charged with a felony and transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
