Graduations
More than 1,750 students received degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison during a commencement ceremony at the Kohl Center on December 18. Among the graduates was New Lenox resident Cameron Erdman, who was awarded a Bachelor of Arts, Political Science.
Dean’s/President’s/Chancellor’s List
Justin Brown, of New Lenox, was named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester at the University of Maryland Global Campus.
Crete resident Travis Sirevicius has been named to the fall Dean’s List at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.
Kaitlyn Bittner, of New Lenox, was named to the University of Mississippi’s fall Chancellor’s Honor Roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.75-4.00. Madison Fiore, also of New Lenox, was named to the University’s fall Dean’s Honor Roll, for students earning a semester GPA of 3.50-3.74.
Emma Heaney, a junior student from Manteno, has been ranked among the top two percent of students in their college at Iowa State University in Ames.
Local students selected to the University of Minnesota Twin Cities fall semester Dean’s List were Samantha Docter, from Beecher, and Grace Grude, from New Lenox.
