January 31, at approximately 12:30 a.m., a traffic stop at 6600 Monee-Manhattan Road led to the arrest of a Calumet City man for suspended plates, no insurance, and suspended driver’s license. Kalup Anderson, 22, was processed and released.
January 31, at approximately 3 a.m., officers responded to Eat the Bone Restaurant on Governors Highway for a burglar alarm. Upon arrival, officers found glass in the front door had been broken and entry made. The suspects had already fled the area. Owners indicated a cash drawer and some cash was missing. A complete inventory is pending. Investigations following up.
January 31, at approximately 6 a.m., officers responded to the Burger King on Monee-Manhattan Road after employees found the business had been broken into overnight. The front door glass was shattered, and it appeared the cash drawer had been tampered with. A complete inventory is pending. Investigations following up.
January 31, at approximately 9 a.m., officers charged Jelia Moore, 20, of Flossmoor, with theft after Amazon LPO reported her stealing off the package line. She was transported and processed.
January 31, at approximately 3 p.m., a Cleveland Avenue crash resulted in the arrest of Karen Sharp, 64, of Manteno, for following too closely. No injuries were reported.
January 31, at approximately 3:45 p.m., a Ridgeland Avenue traffic stop, for expired and suspended registration, led to the arrest of Jorge Urbina, 27, of Lansing. He also was found to be driving while suspended and no insurance. He was cited accordingly.
February 2, at approximately 11:50 a.m., officers charged Matthew Banjoff, 31, of Hobart, with theft after Amazon LPO reported him stealing off the package line. He was transported and processed
