Becky Lynn Goodwyn, 50, of Lowell, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, January 26, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. Born on September 8, 1972, in Munster, Indiana, she was the daughter of William and Linda Murray. On August 5, 2000, she married Wayne Thomas Goodwyn.
Becky was an elementary school teacher for the Beecher School District her entire career. She was a member of Land of Lincoln Border Collie Association and a dedicated member of Zion Lutheran Church in Grant Park.
Becky is survived by her beloved husband of 23 years, Wayne Thomas Goodwyn; son, Thomas Cole Goodwyn; parents, William and Linda Murray; brother-in-law, George Curtis Goodwyn; and sister-in-law, Tracey Jean Goodwyn-Bridges. She was preceded in death by her brother, Sean Murray.
A funeral service was held on February 4, at Zion Lutheran Church in Grant Park (Sollitt), with burial at Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
Hack-Jensen Funeral Home in Beecher was in charge of arrangements.
