Happy anniversary, Coler Chiropractic

There are plenty of reasons why Clearing and Garfield Ridge are among the best places to live—not just in Chicago, but the entire metro area.

One is our wealth of healthcare practitioners who are top tier, yet based right here in the neighborhood.

One such top-tier healthcare practice is Coler Chiropractic.

Coler Chiropractic has been headquartered at 6657 W. Archer (Archer and Normandy) since December 1992. Though situated in a modest, unassuming storefront, the practice sees patients from as close as a block away and from as far away as other states.

That kind of loyalty to a healthcare practice speaks volumes about the quality of care that has been delivered routinely over the years by the practice.

The story of Dr. Joseph Coler, D.C., is one of success, truly local success. He grew up in Garfield Ridge, graduating from St. Daniel the Prophet School before heading off to Marmion Military Academy and Benedictine University. After that, it was off to Palmer University in Davenport, Iowa, where he earned his doctorate in Chiropractic.

Dr. Joseph Coler, D.C.

To this day, he still lives in the community with his wife, Dr. Wendi Coler, D.C., and their four children. He is active in the Midway Chamber of Commerce (aka the Garfield Ridge Chamber of Commerce), St. Daniel the Prophet Parish and other endeavors that make the community a better place.

He is a certified Chiropractic Sports Physician and has worked with countless local athletes, from kids playing grade school sports to seniors who are still active, and everyone in between.

But mostly, Dr. Coler helps ordinary folks live healthier lives by relieving pain from head to toe: everything from headaches to twisted ankles, and all in between.

Over the decades, he has—directly and indirectly—improved the lives of thousands of men, women and children. He has even helped women who were told they can’t conceive a child, simply by correcting their alignment. Fascinating stories. I’ve told him he should write a book.

Full disclosure: I myself have been a patient of his–as were my husband and two daughters. In our times of need, of injury, Dr. Coler was there to correct alignment problems and let our bodies heal themselves.

To celebrate 30 years at Archer and Normandy, Coler Chiropractic is encouraging everyone stop by and say hello. While you’re there, enter the practice’s free drawing for gift certificates to local businesses like ASH Gastropub, Ciao Ragazzi, New Dynasty Restaurant, Café 63, Soukal Floral and more.

Congratulations, Coler Chiropractic, and thank you.
