On Monday, January 16, the Lady Panthers traveled to Lisle for a conference match-up and brought home a victory, 51-40.
On the night, senior Katherine Gaffney led the team with 15 points and 6 rebounds, while junior Sydney Sosnowski added 12 points and was 4/6 from the three-point line. Senior Kylie Saathoff had 11 points and 9 rebounds, with sophomore Macy Iwanus finishing with 5 points and 3 assists. Sophomore Ava Peterson and junior Sara Schmidt each grabbed 7 boards.
Then, on Thursday, January 19, the Panthers lost to conference rival Peotone in an away game 18-49. Peotone kept the Panthers in single digits all four quarters, though the only points scored in the entire fourth stanza were recorded by the Panthers, with two.
On the night, junior Sara Schmidt had 3 points and 4 rebounds, while seniors Alexa Willis added 3 points, and Kylie Saathoff finished with 6 rebounds.
